Cisco Nevarez founded Paladin Safety Group after noticing many small businesses, wanting to provide a safe workplace for their employees, did not have safety management programs. Cisco’s vision is to give companies programs that are easy to implement, to give employees a safety program that they want to participate in and to see companies grow a safety culture of people who care.

Cisco graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and spent 11 years as a design engineer before pivoting his career to be a full-time safety professional in 2017. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), an OSHA authorized outreach trainer and is experienced with working with office managers to boots-on-the-ground employees.

He believes in supporting local associations such as the Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors and the Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals. As an instructor, he has trained thousands of workers in multiple aspects of workplace safety; many members of the associations. He supports the Annual Safety Fest of the Great Northwest in North Idaho, providing safety related training, at no cost, to any business or community member interested.
